The Lost Umbrella
It is Monday morning and it is raining a lot. Ana takes her blue umbrella and walks to the bus stop near her house.
The bus is full of people. Ana sits next to an old man with a newspaper. She puts her wet umbrella on the floor, between her feet.
Ana is reading messages on her phone. Suddenly, she sees her stop. She gets up quickly and runs out of the bus.
On the street, the rain falls on her head. “Oh no! My umbrella!” she says. But the bus is already far away.
All day at work, Ana thinks about her umbrella. It was a gift from her sister, and she likes it very much.
In the evening, she takes the same bus home. The driver looks at her and smiles. “Is this yours?” he asks, and he shows her a blue umbrella.
“Yes! Thank you so much!” says Ana. The driver explains that the old man with the newspaper found it and gave it to him.
The next morning, Ana sees the old man at the bus stop. She buys him a coffee and thanks him. Now, every Monday, they talk on the bus.
